by Harry G. Dukes
I sit and I sigh
As I write these rhymes
Trying to make sense of anything in my mind
Do I try to be clever in order to succeed?
Or rather, just let my pen bleed and get the release that I need?
Making sense takes time
And I don’t have plenty.
All I have is a pair of dimes
Which aren’t many.
Harry Dukes really enjoys writing poetry and using rhyme scheme is something that he purposely tries to incorporate into all his poems.
