by Harry Dukes
I object to reflect the positive effects of being perfect.
Being without flaw
Paints a pretty picture on the outside but leaves the inside raw.
Fooling those around into believing that somehow, I am the best man in town.
Therefore, I will not run when the truth comes.
But rather, I will embrace my face, my mistakes and all the broken pieces that fit perfectly into place.
Harry Dukes really enjoys writing poetry and using rhyme scheme is something that he purposely tries to incorporate into all his poems. He hopes that his poems communicate something personal that is easily felt and understood by anyone. For serious business inquiries contact him at: firstname.lastname@example.org
